Drew Smith joined Smith, Currie & Hancock LLP as an associate attorney after his relocation to San Francisco in 2008. Drew attended University of Colorado for his undergraduate studies where he obtained two degrees in the biological sciences. After conducting 2 years of research for Harvard Medical School, Drew relocated to Chicago, Illinois to attend the John Marshal School of Law where he earned his J.D with a specialization in intellectual property law. Drew is a registered patent agent with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Since joining Smith, Currie & Hancock LLP, Drew has been able to apply his science background by assisting clients in construction litigation and transactional matters.
